My interdisciplinary approach draws from experiences as a practicing architect, predominantly dealing with housing, from artistic enquiry into the domestic sphere and from my interest in ethnographic methodology. These define approaches and tactics in my main fields of interest - dwelling, inhabitation and questions of the home; buildings as processes, diachronic perspectives onto the built environment; the project typologies of conversion, extension and renovation; a close range of observation, registration and intervention.
In all 9 years experience as a practicing architect, carried out own design projects and worked in offices in Vienna and Berlin during the period 1994 - 2007, among others Prof. Ernst Hiesmayr, Prof. Günter Feuerstein, Margarethe Cufer, Daniel Libeskind, Atelier Holnsteiner, Bernard Ebner Hasenauer Ferenczy Architects.
Internships at the 'Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen' ('Institute for Human Sciences') Vienna 1996 and at the UNHCR (United National High Commision for Refugees) Vienna 1997.
