The Aarhus School of Architecture was established in 1965 and has since then educated almost 4,000 graduates.
Today, the school has about 850 students of which about 200 are from abroad. Add to this about 150 employees: instructors, researchers and administrative staff.
The Aarhus School of Architecture provides a three-year Bachelor programme and a two-year Master programme. The Bachelor programme gives the students insight into all of scales of the architectural profession - from design over building to physical planning - whereas the Master programme offers specialised studies within well-defined subject areas and distributed over five departments:

Architecture

Landscape and Urban Planning

Architectural Heritage

Design

The departments are also the framework for the research at the school.

Furthermore, the Aarhus School of Architecture also offers Master programmes for architects and related occupational groups with a number of years of work experience.
